Lower School

Evident by their radiating smiles and enthusiasm, Southland Academy Lower School students are excited to come to school.  The Southland Lower School students are blessed with loving, caring, and inspiring teachers who provide engaging and interactive classroom environments while giving them a confidence and sense of security.  Through multiple enrichment classes such as music, computer, art, physical education, and Spanish, community involvement, specialized grade programs and projects, classroom guidance, hands-on activities, as well as school spirit, our young Raiders are challenged to achieve success academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.  Southland students form positive interpersonal relationships in safe and secure settings where they have space to learn about themselves and each other.  With a faculty who goes out of the way to give each child a place of belonging, students develop connections with peers, faculty, and community giving them a strong sense of purpose.  Southland Academy Lower School is blessed to have a school community that offers a stimulating curriculum, small class sizes, and nurturing surroundings.  Our students leave the Lower School as confident learners and decision makers ready for Middle School.
