Teacher Biography
Tessa Jordan is in her second year of teaching. Tessa, a native of Dawson, Georgia, graduated from Terrell Academy and Georgia Southwestern State University getting a Bachelor of Arts in English. Tessa teaches 6th grade Reading, 7th grade English, and 9th grade English at Southland Academy. Tessa also is a 7th grade homeroom teacher. She is the assistant varsity softball and basketball coach. Tessa is engaged to a Southland Alumni, and is expected to get married in January of 2022. Tessa is actively involved with her church, Central Baptist Church in Americus, where she worked on staff for three years specializing in recreational and children's ministry throughout her college years. She values her relationship with Christ above all, and loves her family, friends, and sports. She is excited to be a part of the Southland community.
