"My Place Project" wins Second Place At State Competition
Earlier this year the Southland students participated in the "My Place Project" hosted by the Americus Town Committee of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America, Georgia Society. Their mural, which until recently had been displayed in our local welcome center, received second place in the state competition. The prize money will be used to help with future art projects as well as art education. Congratulations to the Southland students for an outstanding art project!
