The
Young People's Christian Organization is designed to provide
high school students the opportunity to fellowship in a
Christian atmosphere and to witness to others through service
projects.
Along
with participating in various campus activities, our students
concentrate first semester on Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas
Child shoebox drive. During the second semester, the
students make and deliver Easter cards in the Mattie Marshall
Center of Magnolia Manor.
Through
our words and actions, it is our desire to bring others closer
to Christ.
"Whoever
claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus walked."
1 John 2:8

YPCO BEGINS SHOEBOX DRIVE
Members of the
Junior High YPCO explained Operation Christmas Child to the
pre-kindergarten students. Operation
Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate
situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes
and the Good News of God's love. This program of Samaritan's
Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be
involved in a simple, hands—on missions project while
focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.
Southland will collect boxes for
Operation Christmas Child the week of November 12th.
