Each
year the Debate Team competes with other schools in the region
on a pre-determined topic.
The Debate Team is a part of the Literary Team.
This year’s Debate Topic is:
2006-2007 High School Topic
Resolved: The United States federal government
should establish a comprehensive program of mandatory national
service by United States citizens.
The
Debate Team does research throughout the Fall Semester to
prepare for the region tournament that is held in January.
This year we will also be competing in the Stratford
Tournament in December.
