2ND PLACE IN REGION (2006)
Southland's Boys' Varsity Cross Country team
placed 2nd in Region. The Varsity Girls' team placed
3rd. The following made Varsity All Region:
Chelsea Battle, 9th place; Nick Goeller, 7th place; Chris
Bird, 8th place; Justin Davis, 9thplace ; Rolie Hancock, 10th
place. The Southland Junior Varsity Girls placed 3rd in
Region. The JV Boys placed 2nd. The following were
All Region: Tanzy Hogsed, 4th Place; Alex Lindsey, 5th
Place; Tifton Pace, 9th Place; Michael Miller, 3rd Place;
Aaron Pryor, 6th Place; David Cowan, 8th Place; Brandon
Roberts, 9th Place; Austin Crook, 10th Place.
Saturday,
September 16th, Southland hosted the Cross Country Meet at the
Buchanan Farm in Americus.
