The Junior Civitan Club helps mold today's young people through leadership, projects, and special events. The club is offered to the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior girls. Every year the Civinettes hold an initiation for new members followed by a "New Member Banquet" at Raider Kitchen. Members participate in various activities including an annual canned food drive in November for the needy of Sumter County. The canned food drive helps to remind the students of people less fortunate. Moreover, the exciting plans for this year include Operation Christmas Child, Daffodil Days, and making a difference in our school and our community through donations and fundraisers. Our purpose is to promote and support programs beneficial to the school and the community. The many club activities encourage a sense of sisterhood, among the Civinettes, and a willingness to serve the community.
