Nikki Remollino Earns the Highest Reader Award

Southland Academy recently recognized the Lower School students for their Accelerated Reading achievements.  Fifth grader Nikki Remollino earned the Highest Reader award with 355.8 earned points, and she read over one million words for the school year.  Nikki will receive a Southland Academy Honor Brick for the courtyard.  Other students earning recognition for reading over one million words are:  Lucy Duke, Ryan Peck, Gamble Wiggins, Emmie Graft, Miller Anne Pryor, Reese Fennessy, Asa Badwin, and Milee Sue Latham.  The Lower School students in grades 1-5 had an outstanding year of reading totaling 46,541,132 words read.  The Southland Academy faculty appreciates these students' hard work and love of reading.  "The more that you read, the more things you will know.
