My husband Neil and I have always lived in Sumter County.  I was employed by Southland in 1988 as the business manager until 2000, when I began working part-time as a substitute teacher and as needed in the office.  In 2003, I returned full-time as receptionist.  I have been part of the Southland family for many years, as my neices Sharon and Kerri Crew are both graduates.  My nephew, Bob Crew, also was a Southland graduate. He has two children, Valerie and Brandon, who are Southland graduates.  He also has two children who presently attend Southland.  Kyle is in grade 10 and Kendall is in grade 9.

I am a member of Salem United Methodist Church where I presently serve as the church treasurer.
